The Centre for Parallel Computing in the School of Electronics and Computer Science is a focus for research in the technology and applications of parallel and distributed computations. For more institutional information please refer to the 'CPC about' page.

Some of our current research activities are

Grid Execution Management for Legacy Code Applications

Gemlca is a general solution in order to deploy existing legacy code applications written in any programming language as a Grid service without modifying the legacy code.

The National Grid Service (NGS) aims to provide coherent electronic access for UK researchers to all computational and data based resources and facilities required to carry out their research, independent of resource or researcher location

National Grid Service Portal

The NGS P-GRADE portal offers a rich environment for executing and monitoring computational jobs on the UK National Grid Service and EGEE resources.
